High atop Wenceslas Square, Duplex offers a slick enough atmosphere to convince Mick Jagger to hold his birthday party here. Lately they've spiced up their end of the week program by adding top-notch DJs and big events.
Prague's premiere dance club is the ultimate destination for visiting international celebrities and the in-crowd when they're looking for a night out dancing to techno, hip-hop or house. It's great when there's a special party or a big name DJ playing, but other nights are often dull. Ask around before making the big trip to Mecca.

Billing itself as a Black Music Lounge, this old club with a new name is far enough from the Center that few foreigners can be found there. Three rooms are on offer, each featuring a different kind of music. The R&B room has the smallest dance floor and a huge bar, while the house music dance floor is filled with those legendary Czech beauties. Downstairs you can bop to radio hits and oldies with neighborhood refugees who didn't make the crawl home from Futurum.
Sporting a large dance floor and enough hidden corners to get to know your night's date a little better, Futurum is one of the few big clubs close to the center that has preserved a local atmosphere. So it continues to be succesful in entertaining the local Smichov residents and other out of the mainstream clubbers. Check out the weekend theme parties (80s music nights) for a memorable experience.
Billing itself in neon as Central Europe's largest dance club, Karlovy Lazne's four floors of mayhem is just that. Four different styles of music for as many different age groups. Popular with tourists and pre-college locals, everybody's been here at least once.
Best known for its infectiously fun 80's nights on Saturday, it seems like Lucerna has been around forever. Whether you head up to the balcony or wiggle your way to the front of the stage, you'll find this venue is perfect for both dancing and live music.
One of Prague's most extravagant nightspots, the plush decor at Radost FX is worth seeing at least once. Chill out in the lounge bar upstairs or go down to the club and dance to the vibes of international DJs with students, ex-pats, and affluent locals of all ages. R&B and Hip Hop lovers should be sure to check out the weekly “Soul Train” parties on Thursdays and Saturdays. See calendar of events for dates.
Descend into the depths of Double Trouble and discover tourists doing their best to squeeze everything they can out of their Prague vacation. Naughty youngsters show their derring do as oldsters try to match them. But the music is solid and it's a cinch to have fun.
This restaurant cum bar cum dance club manages to please all comers with decent food and average service. The main event occurs downstairs where everyone throws caution to the wind and boogies away til late in Prague's version of the Star Wars cafe.
