Where the code will take me
Práce, práce, práce, vždyť to znáte. A tento příspěvek je také inspirován událostmi v mém zaměstnání. Výsledek mého pokusu je ale, myslím, tak všeobecný, že by se s ním mohl ztotožnit snad každý programátor.
Management má občas divné nápady. Když se konalo letošní první kolo technologických reportů, měli autoři zakončit své prezentace nějakým vtipným slajdem. Teď přišlo druhé kolo téhož a co se má předvést tentokrát? Týmová píseň. Všem nejdříve vstaly vlasy hrůzou a začaly padat dotazy, jestli se někdo nezbláznil. Pak ale začaly padat konstruktivnější návrhy a o jednom jsem začal vážně přemýšlet.
"Tohle by šlo," říkal jsem si. "Ale potřebuje to upravit text." A protože mě to ani po několika dnech nepřešlo, jeden večer jsem si sedl a začal bastlit. Hudbu (a originální verzi) můžete nalézt třeba na YouTube.

I know the code can crash, and saw some mem'ry leaks,
unhandled return val's, and misplaced for-loop breaks.
I saw cryptic names and handful of goto's.
But that'll be fine.
