I should start this by saying that I am sorry I haven't really had time to update the photos et al. I was hoping to get some work done today on the photo pages (you should check them out anyway, just in case you haven't for a while, there might be something new), but I ended up working today anyway. That, and a bit of a hangover...
SO far it seems that I have opted not to break into the Kentucky Jack, King Nino can breath easy, that is if I manage to get it in the mail before the next emergency. Turns out that here in Clovis on a Sunday, not only can't you buy packaged sauce on a Sunday, you can't even get a drink in a restaurant! What would Jesus have done? No wine? Have to drink water? Doubt it. He liked the red as I recall.
One week left in preproduction. We need more like four. Two, my kingdom for an extra week! Well, not my kingdom, really it's too bad for the director. It's a good script. If anyone has a few bucks they'd like to throw into the pot, I figure 2 mil should cover what we are missing.
One thing that I find interesting is the way the people in the community are helping. They are pretty excited about the film, and show it. In Prague, movies are little more that a traffic nuisance, but here, well, we are big, man! I'll try to get a photo or two in this little blurb...
