Fuego's Place - a place to burn with Fuego

Holy Cow, was this Thanksgiving, or just Sunday?

Even tho we had a vyborny Marianna's fisrt Thanksgiving dinner today, we are still trying to figure out what to do for Thanksgiving dinner. The monkey with the wrench is the wedding in Missouri on Saturday. That makes things tough. Me, I'd love to spend Thanksday in New Orleans with some friends and other friends who are almost family. It works, since we had the family Thanks Feast today. It almost works. It gives us a day and a half in NO before we gotta head up to the wedding. Just one day. Seems we need more time. Always, more time. Could just head to the wedding, and then to NO. Still waiting to hear from our friend, who, for sake of this blurb, we will call "Trisha." We know her from Prague, had some great Thanks Feasts together there in Sunny Praha. She now works in Budapest, close, but far, from Prague. And she will be in NO for Thanksgiving. Will she be there the next week? We don't know. So much thanksfibing possibilities. SO much thanks to give, and so little time.
We got a bit crazy tonight, and went to the "new" bar here in Los Alamos. It was well lit, but friendly. I suppose that's to be expected with all the fresh white paint, dimmerless lights, and few patrons. The Pinon Blonde beer tasty, even Marianna liked it. We soon left for the comfort of the VFW. Cheep bud and darts. Ah, yes, bar hopping in Los Alamos. We even walked, that's how crazy we were. We walked! Like, on our feet with no support vehicles. Dang, these'll be the daze.
The bartendress, who was the same bartendress we had at the Canyon the other day (and who, incidentally, is quitting the bartending jobs for a boss job in the new place) tells us there is something like 8 bars in LA. I pointed out: not on the weekend.
Looks like I should get some sleep. No matter where we go and what we do in the next couple of days, we got our shit scattered all over the place.
There is a good Czech film playing in Santa Fe right now. _} elary. I'm told it's at the CCA. For those of you (us) near Santa Fe, seeing this movie is a list topper. Hope to see you there...
