Good news! The waitress doesn’t think my scarf makes me look gay. I don’t want this to come our wrong. There are times when I have no problem looking gay, it can be the source of many a free drink in the right place. I should digress here a moment. Here in the CZ the colloquial term for “gay” is “teply,” which means “warm.” SO my question to the waitress could very well have been “Does this scarf make me look warm?” I’m pretty sure she knew what I meant. By the way she laughed, I’m pretty sure the scarf makes me look “warm,” which is ok, because it’s kind of cold in here. Mostly I worried that people here would think I’m dating my brother (we are here, in the cheap beer bomb, working together), and how sick is that? I think I’ll switch to the hat…
