Fuego's Place - a place to burn with Fuego

Someone is waiting for God

And they came here, to my lil' slog, to find him. Yes, for those of you who have actually read the crap here, it might come to you as a surprise that if one were to type "I am waiting for God" into a slot reserved for Google, that my site would come up number 7. Well, it sure as hell was a bit of a surprise for me, that is for sure, especially to find that I can came in number 7. I cannot guarantee that the Googlist found what they were looking for. "I am searching for God" is really much more of a statement than a search. Strange they felt that somehow Google had some sort of information on it. Perhaps they were looking for tips. "While waiting for God, it is helpful to have a plethora of nutritious snacks at hand. One can never be sure how long the wait will be." Or "Waiting for God is an age-old enterprise, be sure you have a comfortable place to sit, and plenty of books." Our fabled searcher ended up here, of all places.
Something more to be considered: none of my counting/ statistical collecting/ who is whom programs watching over Fuego's Place (and giving me literally minutes of statistical distractions every day)have been able to tell me anything more than an IP address for this, our Waiter. No country, no provider, just an IP address. Could it be this, our Waiter, is perhaps a little closer to God? Perhaps the Waiter has been waiting a very very long time already. It is possible that this site has been visited by one quite close to God already. I would agree, more likely one close to Godot, but who are we to say? How much waiting have most of us done?
Some other interesting facts about this seemingly immaculate search: Fuego's Place came in 7th out of 4,900,000 sites! Not bad, mes amis, not bad! Also, the search (at least when I hit the link in my statistical count em up program) took .23 seconds. There are many who would consider that information in itself enough to show a veritable significance in the conspiratorial world of “Waiting for God” that surrounds us at every moment, of every day; making our daily survival a small miracle in itself (and giving the Waiter mystical credence in his/her/its apparent patience, one has to be ready to wait for a long time indeed for a lofty goal such as God!) Yes, mystical numbers abound (especially since 4,900,000 devided by 7 is 700,000). I don’t think there is any need to cover the .23 in the world of important numbers, I hope you are as familiar with this as you are with the SSDC.
I am not sure what to think of it, not sure at all why the powers encompassed throughout this universe would put my slog in such a prominent place when Googled "I am waiting for God." It does give a bit of credence to the fight against the squirrels, and my rise towards Grace and Ultimate Understanding over at Muddled Ramblings, where I have stumbled into a sort of "God Like" Status. Perhaps what this search is trying to tell us is that they are waiting for Fuego!
Something to ponder, anyway...
