Fuego's Place - a place to burn with Fuego

First day of work, and it was, well, work.

Day one under the belt, and I have to say: I am not used to working. I remember when a 13 hr. day didn't bother me that much, but by 8pm this evening, I was ready to go home; and we still had a schedule meeting to go!
All in all, I feel pretty good about this film (so far - it was only day one, after all!) The director already has most of the film shot-listed. (For those of you who don't know the film world, and its jargon, a "shot list" isn't at all what it may sound, it is, in reality, a sort of "list" of "shots." It is nearly an endangered species in this world today, spotted a few times last year in Vancouver, and once in Bucharest. Now, here it is in Prague - and before we have even started shooting! I remember on "Believe in Me" when the Director showed up one day with the mythical "shot list." WE were all in reverent awe, and had to take the day off. It was too bad, since the shot list he brought was almost three days work. The sadly unfunny part is that it was a list for that day.) We even have all the locations. This is crazy, all that work already done, and with two weeks left in Prep! Now, if only we could cast a couple of people...
The AD team is shaping up, some good folks fighting with us. I am hoping, but understatedly, that this film will be the antithesis of "Believe." I some how doubt it. The problems will come, and they will not call first...
