Syndacation, baby, has reached mightaly into our midst. Here is the first in a new series of exposes from Poland...
I can't jump
the basket was definitely too high, by 3 inches is
my guess the ball was a tad over-inflated which didn't help on
that old iron rim (but that will right itself in time, it's a 4 dollar ball)
i was alone out there. kids still in school. i felt i needed a bit of practice before taking on the 10 year-olds so i chose a noon-time practice-session.
i really can't jump, knees feel wobbly.
a grass hillside behind the basket is a beautiful thing, feeds those missed jumpers back to you.
new ball and old hands got real dirty. doesn't anyone sweep around here!!!
3 year-old girl and her grandma both giggled at my jump-shooting.
as for my jump-shooting, I took 250 shots from 10-20ft. and made 119. Not bad. That's 476%. I'll take it, all things considered.
shooting percentage will go down when a ten year-old
is in my face.
i need new sneakers
forget about 3-pointers on this court
I used to be able to jump!!!!
